- President Bush signed legislation to reauthorize the TBI Act this
afternoon. You can visit the White House website for the release,

On Monday, April 28, 2008, the
President signed into law: S. 793, the "Traumatic Brain Injury Act
of 2008," which authorizes appropriations and makes changes to the
Department of Health and Human Services programs that provide grants
for State programs for: tracking and reporting of brain injuries;
and brain injury rehabilitation.
McLean, Va., January 8, 2007 – The Brain Injury Association of
America (BIAA) today released a position statement that calls on
lawmakers and private sector payers to eliminate barriers to
access and delivery of cognitive rehabilitation treatment for
patients with acquired brain injuries.
