This year's show "Ticket to Paradise" is hosted by Ginger Zee of
NBC5, and a special guest appearance by Steve Cochran of WGN Radio.
Come dressed in your favorite cruise wear! Celebrity guest models
include: Ginger Zee of NBC5, Matt Rodewald of NBC5, Bob Love of the
Chicago Bulls, Miss Illinois International 2010 Ashley Newman, and
Mark Doyle of The Ramova Brothers.
The show will feature fashions for women, men and children. Boutique
shopping is from 10:30am - 12noon. A plated lunch will be served at
12noon with the fashion show to follow. A photography booth will be
available for you and your guests to capture your favorite cruise
memory. Two tickets to the Oprah Winfrey Show, gift certificate for
"Wishbone" (located across from Harpo Studio), and a large gift
basket filled with an assortment of Oprah's favorite things will be
Grand Raffle's first prize. The second prize will be a portable GPS
system and accessories. A Spa basket will be the third prize.
Winners do not need to be present to win.
In addition to the Grand Raffle, we will have a variety of baskets
available for the basket raffle. There are a variety of sponsorship
opportunities available to show your support of the Brain Injury
Association.
Please consider being a Gold Sponsor ($3,000), Silver Sponsor
($1,500), or a Bronze Sponsor ($750). You can become a Basket
sponsor for $100. Please refer to the Sponsor Information Sheet.
Tickets and Sponsorships are available for online purchase. Tickets
are $50, and a table of 10 is $500.
This is a fun way to show your support for the programs and services
provided by the Brain Injury Association of Illinois around the
state of Illinois.

15th Annual Golf Outing and Awards

11:30 – 1pm.
The shotgun start is scheduled for
1pm.

BIA of Illinois 2010 Camps
Wilderness Endeavor (ages 22 and older)

Camp FunZone (ages 7 - 21)

The Brain Injury Association of Illinois will be hosting its camp
program during the week of June 27, 2010. This year, all camps will
be
held during the same week. Each camp will have its own separate camp
area and counselors at Timber Pointe Outdoor Center. Each camp will
have
its own specific programming and activities during the week. The BIA
of
Illinois camps have been developed specifically for individuals who
have
sustained a brain injury, and the programming and activities reflect
that focus.
Some of our activities during the week will include, fishing,
canoeing,
horseback riding, swimming, field & target games, and arts & crafts.
In
addition, we will have movie night, casino/games night, talent show
and
the favorite of all, the annual awards dinner and dance. For the
first
time ever, we are offering the Ropes course (high and low courses)
during camp! Each camper is assigned a counselor who will work
directly
with them during the camp. Medications and medical needs will be
addressed by the camp nurse who is available onsite during the week.
The Brain Injury Association of Illinois is able to provide
volunteer
opportunities for college students who are pursuing studies related
to
brain injury rehabilitation and professionals working in the field
of
rehabilitation. Please contact the office if your college class or
rehabilitation team is interested in volunteering during the 2010
camp
program.
We are in need of camp sponsors, and there are many ways you can
support
our campers. Please consider becoming a camp sponsor today.
