16th Annual Fashion Show and Arts/Crafts Shopping  

Saturday, March 25, 2017
Drury Lane Conference Center - Oakbrook Terrace

Join us on March 25th to celebrate new spring/summer fashions on the runway! Some of our featured clothing lines will be from Enzee Boutique (Elmhurst), Pink Slip Boutique (Mokena), Parker James Boutique (Mokena), and Jax and Debb (Chicago). Make plans to arrive between 10:30am and 12noon to shop our Boutique area for a variety of jewelry, fashion accessories, and specialty items. A plated lunch will be served at 12noon, and the fashion show will follow at 1:15pm. We will have our traditional Basket Raffle, which has a variety of basket themes. This event is open to the public, so share the word with your family and friends. Please consider being a Fashion Show sponsor, and purchasing a table for your family and friends.

There are a variety of sponsorship opportunities available for this event. Please consider becoming a sponsor and show your support of the Brain Injury Association of Illinois programs and services.

Make plans to contact your US Senators, Richard Durbin and Tammy Duckworth, and your district US Representative on this specific day, and ask them for their support and advocacy ensuring increased funding for the programs authorized through the TBI Act.  The BIA of Illinois will make information available for you to use when making the calls and contact.

Join the BIA of Illinois at Run, Walk, Roll for Rehab     

Saturday, April 8, 2017      9am – 11am
Governors State University
1 University Parkway, University Park

Watch the website for more details. There are 2 courses, a 5K route and a 1 mile fitness route. The route is accessible, and is stroller friendly. The event is sponsored by the Physical Therapy program at Governors State University, and the proceeds benefit the Brain Injury Association of Illinois. Come join us!

Join the BIA of Illinois at the 2017 DuPage Human Race

Saturday, May 6, 2017      9am – 11am
The Esplanade at Locust Point
1901 W. Butterfield Road, Downers Grove

 Register today for the 6th Annual DuPage Human Race! The Human Race® is a community event & fundraiser that benefits over 70 non-profit organizations serving DuPage County – and the Brain Injury Association of Illinois is one of the non-profit organizations participating!

 When you sign up and indicate the Brain Injury Association of Illinois is your charity of choice, half of your registration fee is directed to the BIA, and the contribution/sponsorship you make are given to the BIA. You can also go online and designate your contribution be given to the Brain Injury Association of Illinois. You can also sign up for your own fundraising page for the BIA of IL team.

 This is a USATF sanctioned course at the Esplanade at Locust Point. There will be 2 course routes - both the 5K Run and 2-mile Fitness Walk will begin at 1901 Butterfield Road in Downers Grove.

The 5K Run will wind through the complex; and the 2-mile Fitness Walk will be an out & back course. The Fitness Walk route will be open to strollers, wheelchairs and leashed dogs. Kids ages 13 and under are free, but they do need to register.
