	The Midwest Regional Traumatic Brain Injury Model System (MRTBIMS) funded by the US National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) located at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago has been created to support an interdisciplinary, multidimensional center focused on providing and improving care for people with traumatic brain injury (TBI). MRTBIMS has established a coordinated multilevel interdisciplinary system of care for people with TBI, including pre-hospital, emergency, acute, long-term acute, intensive rehabilitation, and community care.
	Glenwood HealthCare and Rehab, Inc. is a long term residential option providing specialty rehab services to those with acquired or traumatic brain injuries.  Services based on need include:  Physical and Occupational therapy, Cognitive Therapy, Neuropsychological and Psychological Services, Expressive Language Skills, Music Therapy as well as Activities of Daily Living.  A fully licensed and certified nursing and rehab facility, our unique BI Rehab program is available to clients of all payer sources including Medicaid.
	Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital has been serving the physical rehabilitation needs of adults and children since 1972 through its inpatient, outpatient and subacute rehabilitation programs. Marianjoy's inpatient brain injury program for adults and children has been awarded accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). This is the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded, representing Marianjoy's commitment to excellence in providing services for individuals who have experienced a brain injury due to trauma, cerebral hemorrhage, infection, tumors and oxygen deprivation.
	Arlington Rehabilitation & Living Center  Our short-term rehabilitation team is staffed with highly trained professionals including clinical coordinators, physicians, dieticians, occupational and physical therapists, speech and language pathologists, recreation specialists, and additional support staff. A variety of health care professionals work with patients during their time with us. They include case managers, physicians, dieticians and nutritionists, social and emotional therapists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and a certified interdisciplinary team is dedicated to us ensuring that all of their needs are met.
